As an American living in the UK that has to use transformers for most of my devices I was hoping to see a dual voltage power supply on the XB1. Can anyone shed some light on the brick itself?

I can confirm it. US is 100-127V while EU is 200-240V. Both are 12A * 17.9V = 215W. Microsoft will release Power Brick as an accessories next year (planned). Xbox One games are all region free, you can buy one from local stores.

Hey guys: Me again. One english user go to my forum for the guide. Here’s the translation. More models, have to contact the thread starter, due to some business sites copy his guide and no copyright annoucement. Beware, your risk, don’t blame me if your PSU is screwed :) Good luck.

This guide is for PB-2221-02MX 110V Xbox One US PSU mod to 220V PSU. http://www.xbox-skyer.com/showthread.php… Model: PB-2221-02MX Power: 253Wh Steps:

  1. Remove the 110V varistor (blue-circled in picture) wrapped by a heat shrinkable sleeve.
  2. Remove R153 and C154.
  3. Cut the circuit copper as showed in red-circled, yellow line. Another solution, remove the black bead capacitance under a big capacitance.

  1. Cut the wire J5A.
  2. Another angle, cut the wire J2A also.
  3. Remove the 110V varistor (blue-circled in picture) wrapped by a heat shrinkable sleeve. Another solution, you can replace it with a 220V varistor, model 14471.
  4. Shorcircuit two points blue-circled in picture.

They sell adapters to use Xbox 360 Slim and older one to use on the XboxOne so i guess it’s working like the PSU’s i gave you guys in the links. I found on alibaba aliexpress and dealextreme the PSU 220v for about $13 direct from factory but for 10 pièces ans $30 for one pièce on dx.com i took one to try. You guys think the original one is $100 or so ? All those PSU are chinese even with dual voltage…

Hello! I had the same problem but you can actually use the 360 cable that goes from the wall into the powerbrick because it’s the same cable.
