Hi, I live in the Netherlands and I bought a MacBook Pro 13 inch with Touch Bar with a faulty keyboard. I brought it back to the store, and now it’s sent in for repair. Do you think they are going to replace the keyboard? Or will they give me a new one? Is the keyboard easy to replace?
From the tear down guide MacBook Pro 13" Touch Bar Teardown it looks like the keyboard seams to be a port of the casing. Since it is a lot of work to take apart the laptop the might just exchange the laptop, but I do not know.
I am sorrymto hear that, but the same happened to me, they will replace the keyboard (its one part along with the battery and other components) it might take time, around a week or more.
