Is the keyboard built into the whole top piece with touch pad or is it a separate keyboard by itself? I need to replace the keyboard.
Hi, Here is a link to the service manual for an Acer E5-571P. http://www.manualslib.com/manual/440339/… On p.104 ( http://www.manualslib.com/manual/440339/…) of the manual it shows the removal of the keyboard. It is separate from the palm rest and touchpad. Here is a link (from the same manual) which gives the part number for the keyboard. http://www.manualslib.com/manual/440339/… I suggest that you start from p.100 which shows the pre-requisites necessary for removing the keyboard. Also take note of the warning regarding possible damage to the keyboard during the removal process. Hopefully this is of some help.
