Hello, My phone wasnt charging i replaced the charging port anyway the screen somehow stopped working i manged to un plug and plug the flex cables many times to get it to work , now its working fine but the homebutton its not working , i was wondering if the home button is connected via screen cables to the motherboard , and which cable ? front camera , or the other two screen flex cables
You have three cables on the display, the larger one is part of the digitizer, the midsize is for the front camera, proximity etc and the smaller one connects to the logic board the home button Check carefully with a good light source and some magnification if available both connectors on screen and logic board that all pins are in good shape. Connector doesn’t have to be forced, but you should feel it clicking gently into place.
