Is the front glass screen on a Samsung s6 fused to the lcd

Here’s the IFIXIT guide as reference to replace the display: Samsung Galaxy S6 Display Assembly Replacement. As you can see its a bit of work to even get to the display. Generally the thinner phones screens are glued assemblies (cover glass, digitizer & LCD).
