Hello! I’m looking to open my MBP 13 2017 this month and give it a good cleaning, so I’m wondering whether the ‘Essential Electronics Toolkit’ is the toolkit most people use to open their MBP? I also want to find out whether I can use the same toolkit to open my OnePlus 5T so I can replace my battery? Thanks in advance!
Unless you are encountering overheating issues and you tend to use your system in a very dusty environment you shouldn’t need to clean the system this soon. I would install a good thermal monitoring app line TG Pro so you can monitor things. The Essential Electronics Toolkit will offer the needed bits you’ll need to open your MacBook Pro system. I can’t tell you if it offers what you need for the OnePlus 5T phone.
