Does the iPhone 5s Camera and Sensor Cable Copper Shield Sticker do anything and is in important in any way? And if somebody could tell me where it lays, what it does and most important how to replace it!!!

It just sticks on behind the metal plate shield behind the screen and behind the front camera ribbon assembly.
