So I decided to buy a LCD and fix my own phone screen and when I took the screen out there was a little black cover above the LCD wire I lost it and I don’t know where it is is it required to use the screen?
Not really, you should be able to use the screen without it. I don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to use your new screen assembly without that cover.
