Is the iPhone 5s Upper Component guide the same as for the iPhone SE? I realize it is a different part - just wondering what (if anything) must be done differently . This is the guide I’m referring to: iPhone 5s Upper Component Cable Replacement If not, then what is different? I unfortunately damaged the cable during a battery replacement… completely my foolish fault, but now the flash doesn’t work at all.
There are some minor differences but nothing of any significance. Just write down any functional differences on a sheet of paper as you do the repair.
An additional NFC RF cable run along the top edge around the camera, ending on a screw post beneath the logic board. Otherwise it is very similar.
