Hi, Most keyboard assemblies are attached to the motherboard by a ribbon cable. Your keyboard is part of the palmrest assembly so basically the whole top part comes off as one piece. I can’t find a You Tube video that shows how to replace the keyboard in your laptop you may have better luck. Another thought is that to me the laptop seems a fairly new model. Is this correct? If so there should be a manufacturer’s warranty of at least 12 months on it. If your laptop is less than 12 months old then I suggest that you consult the manufacturer’s warranty statement in the documentation that came with the laptop (it’s usually found in the User Guide) as to what you have to do to make a claim for a manufacturer’s warranty repair or replacement. If it is still within the warranty period and since you have verified that it is most likely not a software problem, you don’t want to be opening the laptop to check for the cause of the problem as this will void the warranty.
