I’ve noticed that in the display assembly replacement guide for the iPhone 6, the last few steps are removing the entire battery, which seemed rather difficult and dangerous. Is this really needed to simply switch out a display assembly?
You must have been looking at the iPhone 6 teardown To change the front screen the battery or other internal parts don’t need to be touched Besides the screen parts that need swapped over
