Chosen Solution
As many know bottom RAM slot in this model could be a problem sometimes. Common cause seems to be drops when hot. Well, does reballing that slot is possible and could be a viable long term solution? Is it more risk than needed comparing to just be happy with max 8GB for an experienced in reballing repair engineer? I mean if one could easily mess the whole board while trying to fix it? I’ll be happy to see some answer because Google doesn’t provide much insights on the topic apart from just use 8GB) Thank you
Before going to the rebelling attempt (extremely risky), try backing the screws that hold it place off a quarter of a turn each.
