Chosen Solution
Well I turned off my phone to fix the selfie camera. before that everything was working fine. But I havent unplugged the battery when i take out my screen i just turn the phone off. After putting the phone back to on the screen stays black. the battery is brand new and the screen is a few months old and i dropped it a couple times my new screen comes tomorrow if it stays black anyone have any ideas what it may be and how to fix it?
Can you see the Apple logo when you are turning the device on while holding a flashlight to it? If so, the it would be your sceeen or the backlight fuse. I would double check to make sure all the connection are tight and not loose or misaligned. If that’s all good, I would try a new screen then. This would be a cheaper fix. If the new screen doesn’t work, then I would start to look at the motherboard.
