My MacBook Pro has not been used for quite a while. Now I want to use it again but it will not charge. Is there a way to check if the external adapter is still working? If I can confirm that this is not the problem, then I don’t need to look any further because then the computer has to be checked. Thanks for any input !

The MagSafe cord has a LED which turns Amber when the battery is charging and Green when the battery is charged. If you don’t see the LED lit you likely have a bad charger or the MacBook power connection is dirty.
