I recently changed my battery but I got it off ebay, I was wondering if it was worth buying a new legit one. I am hoping it will last me 6-8 hours since i use my laptop for university. Also my laptop works fine but the battery is so annoying since it only last an hour
The 2012 Air is a nice and reliable Mac, still supported with latest OS release and in my opinion worth investing in a decent battery. One hour battery time doesn’t make any sense even for an average quality aftermarket battery, the timing reflects a faulty battery that sooner than later will probably stop working completely.
