Chosen Solution

Ok guys, I have a dilemma. I am fixing an iphone 5s for a friend who had her screen replaced from a 3rd party. The home button has stopped functioning and the screen becomes unresponsive. Red lines start flickering on the screen and then the colors jumble around. I tried an old screen that I had removed and that screen’s right side would not respond. Knowing this, I installed it on my friend’s phone. The right side was unresponsive as I already knew, however, the screen was perfect. It did not flicker and the colors were vibrant as they should be. My gut tells me its the screen but the place she repaired it at told her it was a bad logic board. My question is, if it were the logic board, wouldn’t both of the screens acted the same? Thank you all for your help.

It is more than likely the screen. Replace the screen and see if it solves the issue, it should do. :-)
