Chosen Solution
Hi Is it safe to put ribbon cables in a ultra sonic cleaner as I have seen what they do to tin foil And also any recommendations on what pcb cleaner Solution I should get(it has to be one you can buy in the uk) Thanks
Don’t put ribbon cables in an ultrasonic cleaner. Fluid can creep into the cable.The bad thing about an ultrasonic cleaner is that after you use it you have to clean it. One idea to avoid this is to put cleaning solution in an empty, cleaned out, plastic peanut butter or Nutella jar. Put the parts to be cleaned in the solution in the jar. Put the jar in the ultrasonic cleaner. Fill the ultrasonic cleaner with water.
