My elephone p6000’s USB port has been damaged to the point that has felt from the motherboard that it used to belong to. I have seen some sites that sell a USB port for this specific model, but I am wondering if it is possible to replace it for a new one for a regular user and, if so, which procedure should I follow, since AFAIK there’s only a teardown guide explaining how to disassemble Elephone p6000, but does not mention anything specifically about USB port, other than it belongs to a secondary board (visit step 3: Elephone P6000 pro Teardown ). Thanks in advance

It depends on what you mean by regular user. The process is quite simple: you just unsolder the old port and then solder a new one. There are plenty of instructions. Just make sure that you follow the instructions.

Its possible but you’ll have to find someone who can do it.
