Hi, my mid-2009 Macbook got some waterdamage last year, and has been sitting untill now. I want to replace the 2.26 GHZ logicboard in it, and was wondering if it would work to simply get a newer board? If so, are there any specific boards that would work? Thanks in advance, this is my first post so let me know if you need more information.
Any of the A1278 logic boards should work for you. If the water came in through the keyboard, the top case may have to be replaced, making repair economically unfeasible http://everymac.com/ultimate-mac-lookup/…
