hi i have an old HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook with a Amd Turion 2.2 GHz 4,00 GB Ram 500 GB HDD is it in any way or shape possible to this device up to date Update (05/12/2020) i have this pic i dont know if its any helpful
Yes, most definitely. You don’t state exactly which model of the DV6 series so the max. RAM is 8 or 16 GB depending on which one. Service Manual: http://www.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c02842252.p… Page 57 shows you where to look for the exact model name. Look at ‘1’ and ‘5’ in the diagram. This is important for correct RAM. RAM page 66Hard drive page 63 in manual. Always shutdown and remove battery BEFORE doing any upgrades. Backup hard drive or do a complete copy to the new drive using an external USB hard drive adapter/connector. RAM: Max. 8 or 16GB Kit (2 x 4 or 8GB) DDR3L-1866 SODIMM depending on exact model DV6-????SSD: Any size Solid State Drive. Quite straight forward with this model as well.
