My macbook air 2013 has water damage. When I was looking for new logic boards for the 1466 model I saw the 2014 and 2015 logic boards. Now I’m stuck with that one question: Is it possible to place the newer 1466 logic boards in an older model?
To be on the safe side just make sure the board will be supplied with its heatsink. Other than that all the rest is fully compatible between various 2013/2015 boards.
