Hi, So I was working on project on my MacBook and I used my usb cable that has wires exposed to connect my phone,I’m not sure if the cables touched but after a few minutes my laptop just switched off and now It’s refusing to switch on. My MagSafe light has been switching on and off for a while too and it was also connected at the same time. After this happened I tried with my sister’s MagSafe, the light is green but it’s still not switching on. I have also tried Shift+Control+Option+ power button. How can I fix this problem please and thank you in advance.
Ok so sounds like you already reset the SMC (there is a Apple support article with how to do that). I would also suggest resetting the PRAM (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204063).
