Hi! I have a Dell Inspiron 1012 notebook. Though i upgraded it with an ssd and a 2 gb ram,its Intel Atom N450 CPU is terribly slow: is it possible to fix a more powerfull CPU on the motherboard ? Thanks for helping, Best regards
Short: No its not. Long: Its not possible because the CPU is soldered onto the board. In theory it is possible but it requires special equipment that cost a lot of money and very good soldering skills. So Yes it is but its not possible for must people. If you want a better laptop, i suggest getting a new one. Hope i answered your question! If I did hit accept answer!
