Hey guys, Getting into iPhone oled screen restorations but found that I can buy all the bits (glass, digitiser, polariser, oca, frame etc) except for the actual bit that gives image and picture (oled panel). Can someone that does it tell me if it’s not able to be purchased? Issue I’m having is some screens I have are showing green or white lines running up and down, normally either white or green, or the oled shows no image at all. Spent hours searching the net and union and Rewa but none of them have it, just the oled panel. That is why I ask if it’s actually possible to do and buy.
so what your saying is you want to build screens instead of refurbishing screens with good oled panels, just seems a waste of time researching this, the only option is refurbishing good oleds with broken glass, in that case you will need a heater to cut the old glass off, a laminator and autoclave or you could go for an all in 1 like the ak pro.
I bought all that stuff a couple years ago but ultimately gave up because of the various problems like this and it’s time so time consuming. It only makes economic sense in the latest iPhone model because the screens are going to be super expensive, but on the downside not many people are getting the latest iPhone model fixed.
