Since it seems that you know your fair share on the subject Im going to ask you. I have a Samsung TV that displays lines a short time after being turned on. If I turn it off and wait some time, when I turn it on it takes like 40 minutes or so for the lines to appear, and once the lines are there they get worse over time. This lead me to believe that this is a temperature related issue with the TCon board. Should I replace it or do you think that it is something else. I know that it isn’t the panel since the line positions and patterns aren’t always the same and sometimes they appear and sometimes they don’t. Thank you for your time.
@tomaslomba sound slike an issue with the T-con board alright. I would replace the T-con board first and re-evaluate after. If you can give us the complete model number we can try and see if there is more information about common errors etc.
