Solved Is It Harmful To Leave A Disc In My Macbook Macbook

I foolishly put a disc into the slot on my 2007 Macbook and it immediately got stuck. I haven’t done this for years but thought I’d give it a try. Bad idea. I don’t care if the disc stays in there forever, as long as it won’t harm my computer in any way. Any advice?
