Hey, One question: Is it a good idea to use the ps4 with the bottom removed, because my fan is always blowing like a jet engine, so I thought: if I take the bottom off, the fan gets more space to blow the air to. If someone could answer this, already thank you!!!
Looking at the teardown, there is no actual “harm” removing the bottom cover. The airflow is redirected toward the back by the bottom cover as the fan blows downward. If you do remove the bottom cover, the PS4 should be vertical, and you would need to be incredibly careful not to damage those cables.
