Is the WDS500G2B0A backward compatible to 3.0 GB/s SATA II? If not what 2.5” SSD drives are backward compatible? What are you recommending? @danj
@mayer - As far as I know none of the current WD drives offer SATA II support (2.5” or 3.5”). Samsung is the only SSD that states SATA II support as far as I know Samsung 860 EVO For HDD’s at this time only the Seagate 3.5” FireCuda and Barracuda offer SATA II support. Both the current 2.5” Seagate drives are SATA III only
