Solved Iron Is Not Heating Powers On Fine Morphy Richards Iron

I have a Tefal Pro Express Total steam iron, it was working fine however I smelt a burning smell and now Iron powers on fine but its not heating up. Any ideas what it can be?

The wiring is very straight forward. I would open it up using this guide: Morphy Richards Iron Teardown Use a multimeter to check for continuity and replace the wire.
