8 GB: my ipod it dead it wont fire up at all and when plugged into computer it is recognized by the computer as a device. still wont turn on at all. when ipod software is opened it recongnizes that the device is there and that it is in recovery mode and wants us to restore it. but half way through restore it comes up with unknown error 1600 or 1601
