hello I have an ipod video the screen was completely white, which sometimes some vertical lines appear when I turn on my ipod. I tried resetting, but not resolved. Anyone know the reason and how to solve this problem? thank you
rui,that sounds more like a hardware issue than a firmware issue. Check the connector of the display and make sure it is A: closed properly B: the ribbon cable is still properly connected. If any of those are still okay, I would think it is time to replace the LCD. Here isthe guide for it. The display is available at multiple places, and it depends on your geographical location. After that, reevaluate and see what you get.
