i have a ipod video and the middle button is pushed down and its hard to press the button so how do i fix the button.
Take it apart using this guide The middle button has a few notches where it lines up with the click wheel, make sure that it does so. Also, check the logic board. There is a switch on the logic board that corresponds with the button. Make sure that the switch works correctly. You should feel it clicking when depressed. Sometimes the button does not make good contact with the switch, you could bump it up with a few layers of scotch tape or use those sticky felt button you can get at a hardware store. Look in the fabric sections or where the have sliders for furniture. Anyhow, give it a try and let us know. Good Luck
