My Ipod 160GB Classic produces scratchy sound even though the songs is not playing. I have shown it to different service center in India but they failed to repair it. Please suggest me the solution for it.
umesh thapa, if your iPod does not produce, or produces scratchy sound consistently, I believe that the fault is with your audio IC. There are places that do the repair on the logic board, if you do not want to change IC’s yourself :-) Of course, you can replace the board which might be anywhere between $45-100
