hi I got a ipod classic 7th gen 160gb it has a red x can yall fix it….this is my email for reply……

steve, the red x is most likely caused by a bad hard drive. Try to place your iPod into diagnostics mode and see what it tells you about the hard drive. Here is a great write up about how to place it in diagnostic mode ans what the test means. Of course you also want to try a reset as well as a restore and see if that works.
