My ipod classic works perfectly. It connects well on the Pc, handles well and syncs well with Itunes but it is not recognized by my station HIFI. I cleaned the 30-pin connector without result

What did you use to clean it? And can you try another known good iPod/iPhone with your station? It could be that the fault lies with the Hi-Fi station itself. Or try your iPod with a different docking station.
