So here is what I have done: phone WILL charge via cable and wall outletphone WILL NOT charge via cable to USB (tried two laptops and one desktop)phone WILL NOT connect to PC (tried two laptops and one desktop)other phones work will the 3 PCs and the cable with no issues So all this lead me to swap the charging port/connector with another known good iPhone6 that had a bent case and cracked screen - so I figured I’d get one backup phone out of the two. This yielded the same outcome, so now I assume it is something else in the phone that is amiss. ALSO NOTE: previously and now, the phone does seem to “know” its plugged in to the PC since when it gets plugged in, the screen comes on but no connection and no charging. It does this everytime so I do not think its coincidence. Any suggestions based on these symptoms and the work so far? Thanks

I didn’t see in your description a battery change. Try a known good battery if you get the same result it would point to a faulty component on the charging circuit, most likely Tristar. This will require microsoldering skills and equipment to repair.
