Iphone4S sprint model has a sim tray. Can i use the gsm sim card on this ? Without sim it shows searching then no service. When i put a gsm sim then it goes to activation screen. How to use this or can i unlock this iphone4s to use this in india?
for using the iphone4s with another operator you have to buy the updatable Gevey pro card. then you have to update your gevey according to your carrier by entering manually mnc or one more thing in software of gevey then you can put your another sim with this gevey into phone then hold for a second. then go to settings then phone section there is a sim application inside that you will see unlock . press that 2-3 times then you will see your phone showing msg of your sim card which you have inside. then wait for few seconds it willl you the signals bars on the phone. ready to operate. this can use on any iphone4s except canadian fido operator
Simran. Jailbreak the iPhone, go into cydia, and download UltraSn0w for iOS 5. Put the SIM card of whatever service you have in the phone and you’re good to go. If you dont know how to Jailbreak, then just google it. The answers are all over the place.
If the phone has both gsm and cdma chip it should work global.You need to unlock your phone.A untethered jailbreak has been released.

u can use the redsnow and jailbreak it by putting it into dfu mode ……. it bypasses the activation …..means when connecting to wifi just press next ….it’s done … :-))
