Hi, i had to replace my charging port and everything seemed to work fine after I started it. However, the phone would only stay on for a few minutes, then turn off and on. Stay on for a few minutes, etc. Now, when I plug it in to charge, it indicates it is charging, but doesn’t appear to be. Im wondering if the charging port assembly is bad or if something else is broken.

An iPhone XS that boots but restarts every few minutes is most likely caused by a faulty battery or dock connector.

Try wireless charging it. Does it charge up ? If yes, at least you know that the charging IC doesnt broke. Also, try to recheck your insttalation. Whether there is any loose connection. The fact that your phone only stay on for few minutes is quite worrying though
