Hello, Today a customer came back with an iPhone XR where I unscrewed and re screwed a vibrator that was making a shaking noise- it fixed it. However the rear camera stopped working, but I didn’t touch that flex or the component. Next, I replaced an lcd on a iphone XS and once again the rear camera stopped working. I also didnt touch this component or flex. I unseated the battery on both devices before doing the repairs. I have a lot of experience fixing phones, but I’ve never had this problem on these iPhones. Anyone have an idea of what’s going on? Jonah
I would put the phone into a known good housing so you can rule out parts. Once you have ruled out parts you will need to diode and get voltages from the connector, you may need to use something like an iBridge as the camera has to be connected and the camera app open to diagnose it properly. If you cannot find anything I would do an update.
