I have an iphone X in my possession. It got bent up in a car. the OLED is busted but still charges and logic board is intact no issues. The frame was bent pretty bad however it was opposite of the logic board. What is the best way to bend the frame back if possible. I am having trouble removing the back glass. since it is not broken i was really trying to not break it in the course of fixing the device.
It will be very difficult to bend the housing back into shape without damaging the rear glass. Whenever dealing with a bent housing, you pretty much have to use a brute force approach and bend the housing back. Obviously, the housing is very thin aluminum so you have to control your inner brute ;>). There is no way to remove the rear glass without breaking it so you’re only real option is to try to bend it back delicately. If the glass cracks, then get a replacement housing. It will be cheaper and easier that way.
