Chosen Solution

backstory on iPhone: I dropped my phone a few weeks back and the screen smashed and touch stopped working I was using another phone as a replacement and let the broken phone die when I tried to charge it to turn it on there was no sign of life not even red battery logo. I have just changed the screen and battery and the phone will not turn on.

It’s either a replacement parts issue or a logic board issue. When repairing devices, it’s important to have good quality (preferably known-good) replacement parts. Does the phone have the same symptoms with the original screen and battery? If so, then it may be a logic board issue that was caused by the drop.

If you only have a screen problem, you should be able to turn on the phone and use the mute switch a few times to see if the phone vibrates.
