Chosen Solution
Okay so I just finished putting the new iFixit battery into my phone and I closed it all up again and tried to reset it by holding down the home button and the sleep button but I’m having the same issue as before. I can get the phone to turn on to the apple logo but then it goes dark and never gets to the home screen. Can anyone think of what I could have done wrong? I’m going on a vacation in about a week and so I need to get my phone working asap. Update (05/15/2017) It does repeat the cycle. I can get it to the apple logo, it stays on the logo for a few seconds, and then the screen blacks out again. My mom and dad both tried to fix it but we’ve come to the conclusion that I might need to just restore my phone which kinda sucks considering I haven’t backed up my phone since January
Try 3utools.com it’s a softboot, So maybe you can keep your data. Other than that you’ll do a dfu restore, however I’ve seen this before, but let’s not put the cart before the horse
