So my phone got wet after it had a crack in it and was badly water damaged, I managed to replace the screen after a week of letting it dry out and the screen looks fine but now when I turn it on it’s stuck in a boot loop, if I try a hard reset it just stays off but when I try and turn it back on again the boot loop starts back up. Please help Update (04/15/2020) UPDATE: i ley the phone die and it’s now out of the boot loop, however the sound is at working at all, neither is the home button (but the touch iD is?) please help
If your phone wasn’t backed up and you need your data I would recommend sending it to a reputable repairer for data recovery. But if you wish to precede the first thing you need to do would be a battery replacement. There are a number of reasons a water damaged iPhone boot loops and the only one you can address is a battery replacement unless you have microsoldering skills and equipment.
