So a relatives iPhone wouldn’t boot past the apple logo so I connected it to iTunes and restored it. However now when I get the iPhone on it just shuts off by itself after a couple minutes. To get it back on I have to put the charger in and sometimes it just loops the Apple Logo over and over. Sometimes it shows the dead battery logo before finally coming back on with 90% battery. Any ideas what this could be? Should I restore again? Is it the battery?

Hi @darklordvader I can confirm this is a battery issue. Here is the replacement part you will need: iPhone 5s Battery and here is a good guide to follow: How to replace the battery in your iPhone 5s

Yes this is a battery issue Update (08/13/2019) Did you look in Settings > Battery > Battery Health See what its % is Anything around 80% will need to be replaced
