Since 2 weeks my iPhone SE started crashed and restart. Everytime It crashed there were clear artefacts visible. It’s out of warranty so I want to try to fix it myself. Today I tried to ‘update’(restore) iOS over iTunes and now I’m stuck at the point you can see in the picture. I would say It is stuck at this point because the screen did not change for a hour and iTunes said there was something wrong. It there something I can do to allow It to boot again? https://ibb.co/jZhUm9 Also those artefacts and crashes would appear randomly and mostly after It was woken up. iOS settings said the battery would be fine. Is there some stuff I can test which specific part is broken I have a multimeter here and could test some points. I would assume a broken display would show a more consistent error right?

What happened leading up to the original issues two weeks ago; was the phone dropped, repaired or came into contact with water? The first thing I would suspect with screen artefacts is the screen itself, especially if it was dropped hard or repeatedly over time. You could try to replace the screen yourself by following this guide. If the screen doesn’t change anything, then the problem would be on the logic board.
