Hi all, Typical female with butter fingers, dropped my phone and smashed. Well because I am a tight ass and i have replaced screens before for myself and others i thought the iphone SE would be easy to replace. Yes i didnt check online first how to do it. So i followed a step by step guide via youtube and it worked! However charging my phone through no apple cables has always been a pain. SO i thought over night thats why my phone didnt charge. Went to work (have my official charge cable there) and it wasnt charging but i have noticed after a few hours its jumped up to 20% on airplane mode, where it would have fully charged after an hour. I havent tried to play with it yet but i am going to try re-seat the battery snap cable. if this fails WTF do i do? Shall i buy a new battery or bite the bullet and pay for someone to fix? Thanks Dani the tight ass

I’m guessing either battery got damaged during screen replacement or the small components right above the battery connector got knocked off. Sometimes you may need a microscope to see if the small components above battery connector are knocked off or damaged.

Highly probable, tried to look everything seemed ok now the phone keeps switching it self off…so I am going to scrap the phone
