Hi! I’ve got an iPhone SE 2. gen in for a repair. The costumer brought it in with a black screen. The phone is on and works, but the screen had gone black. There might have been some liquid-damage, but I can see any sign of it tho. When I connect a new screen and power on the phone, the Apple logo appears. As soon as the home screen appears the screen goes black again, and won’t show anything. The home screen appears for millisecond. Any tips where to start? -Alex
Possibly a back light filter failing. Piggy back a new battery and try that. Could be the battery struggling to power the phone properly. What does it do with a charger plugged in? Also whilst it’s open, disconnect the front camera ribbon and turn the phone on.
