I have this iPhone 8 Plus I’m trying to unlock with iTunes and it does not seem to connect to my computer. My computer’s juice is not the issue as I tried another device and it even supports fast charging! The phone does charge from a power adapter connected to the wall socket but does not charge from the computer. There are also no signs of the computer detecting it. However if powered off it will turn itself on if connected to the computer. Any way of fixing this issue?
Your computer will not recognise the phone until you enter the passcode. This is a security feature apple brought in a couple of years ago. You will need to put the phone into DFU or recovery mode and restore it.
