My old iPhone X that I have had since it was released has worked fine and was handed down to my son. About 3 days ago he said he woke up and was using it and it kept crashing. I did a lot of investigating and wiped it multiple times, tried beta iOS, read through the log files, which reference Thermalsensor and “Mic 1”. I also took it to Apple store and they said they believe it was the motherboard. I did take the screen off and discovered the moisture sensor on the underside of the screen was pink, but every connector on the phone looked brand new and spotless and I did not see any corrosion anywhere. I also found the program callediDevice Panic Log Analyzer today and when I run the logs through it it says the possible issues are: “Power Button Flex” and or “Charging Port Flex” Other info from the log: panic(cpu 0 caller 0xfffffff013ff70f4): userspace watchdog timeout: no successful checkins from thermalmonitord since load service returned not alive with context : is_alive_func returned unhealthy : current 73fffffffff, mask 67fffffffff, expected 67fffffffff. SD: 1 BC: 1 Missing sensor(s): mic1 I’m interested in repairing it and trying to sell because I already ordered my son a new phone. I have the following items in my cart. I just wanted to see if these are the right ones to start with or if it could also be the ear piece? Thanks. iPhone X Lightning Connector AssemblyIF377-004-1 iPhone X Power Button and Flash CableIF377-002-1 and maybe i also need this? iPhone X Earpiece Speaker and Sensor Assembly
You can rule out two of those parts before purchasing. Disconnect one at a time and see if the phone acts the same. 1. Earpiece Speaker and Sensor Assembly. 2. Power Button flexes. “You can boot the phone with this disconnected by inserting the charge cable“ If it still acts the same I would replace the battery and charge port which should fix the problem as these are the two most common parts to cause this behaviour…
Check the back board if it hasn’t open
I think my iPhone rebooting issue is the earpiece/sensor lead. I just want to stop the endless rebooting!. I realise the face recognition won’t work. I guess I am asking if a replacement new or 2nd hand original cable will solve the thermal Mic /1 error in the dumped report on the phone
