I had given my Iphone 7 Plus for battery change Just a day after i started facing issue where the phone would shut down and restart at 10% battery from a level of 70% to 30% and charge back to the shut down level very fast that is faster than normal charging pattern. This problem was never there before the battery change. I went back to the Authorised Apple Service they said this happens sometimes and if I restore the phone this problem would go away but on doing the restore also this problem is yet there. The phone keeps shutting down after the battery was changed at Apple authorised service centre and Apple is trying to deny responsibility of the problem that has happened at their service during change of Battery and this is not acceptable to me. There are many articles on the Internet where people tried to change battery at a cheaper rate by not going to authorised service centre and faced the same issue I did not feel apple shop would replace the battery in turn damaging the phone and deny responsibility of their mistake. They are now asking for US$ 500 to correct the mistake they have created can anyone guide me on this issue
If you are in the US or in a country where justice works fine and have the payment receipt of the battery replacement go back to the service center and tell them you’ll sue them. If they don’t listen go see a lawyer, I think any decent one will have no major troubles to prove the two things are related, whatever Apple says. If you try replace the battery yourself you’ll lose any rights and probably won’t even solve the problems, Apple has got many issues but their parts have a great quality control behind.
Something is probably shorted to ground in the phone that’s why it’s pesosting the issue. Or battery might be faulty itself. It doesn’t matter it’s been done by Apple or thirst party. After all Apple will deny lot of mistake they have done in iPhone 7 design. It’s a deep debate. In your case(the phone can be repaired and problem can be solved, but because you used Apple authorised repair centre that’s why you shouldn’t go to third party repairs. Instead go to Apple store and explain them the problem started after the work has been done on the phone. I think you ll be get it sorted.
